We are all very thankful that TS Emily fizzled out and did not do much damage in Haiti. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!! The storm dissipated just as it was about to come on shore. Yes, the Lord answers prayers.
We have a team in from Tennessee. They have been matching legs to tables and putting together cabinets & bookcases. They sorted supplies & books. They painted & painted - the back wing classrooms and the front of the first wing. They followed the pattern started by the Missouri group and closed in the triangles unter the tin roof of the back wing. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, the children are mainly interested in assembling the new playground equipment. It is almost ready. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been busy with teacher training. We are studying "The First Days of School" by Harry Wong. This is good practical advice on how to manage a classroom. The teachers seem excited about it. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!
We still need American teachers to work as partners with the Haitian teachers - the Americans teaching with English curriculum and the Haitians teaching with French curriculum. We are up to 9th grade and it is becoming very difficult for my Haitian teachers to teach high school in English.

I also want to thank the people who have been helping with our 3rd wing. Praise the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!! Please continue to keep our 3rd wing needs in prayer.
